Angkor Wat is the largest religious ancient structure and the most famous temple to visit in Cambodia. The land size of the temple is 10299sqm and took 37 years to build. This temple is dedicated to God Vishnu of Hinduism who is said to be the preserver and protector of the universe. Angkor Wat was used for learning, meditating, and Pilgrimage by the ancient people. The best time to go here is every March as the sunrise goes to the center temple for perfect viewing. The tour includes sunrise watching, history walk, water blessing by a monk (optional), photo-taking, and roaming around the temple. There are a lot of people during the sunrise tour so choose a perfect spot for photos

I was lucky enough to visit when all the tourists had gone due to COVID. A few local families were there. This gave me more time to really look around the place and get a feel for the area. It was clean and quite well kept. The structure itself is lovely and the view from the top is quite nice too. Recommended.

Totally mind blowing! We had an amazing morning here with our guide Naga, it is truly awesome & the history of the place is fasinating. This was a "bucket list" trip for us & lived up to our expectations. Highly recommend having your own personal guide, you get so much more enjoyment out of the trip
